The DiaVox Voice Processing
System for Hospitality Application is a comprehensive voice
mail system that is designed specifically to meet the needs
of operations in a hotel environment. Developed in Windows
operating environment, the has a tremendous flexibility to
integrate with the Property Management System. Moreover, when
the system integrates with the PABX, a variety of features
are being offered without restricting the functionality of
it.
The Property Management System
(PMS) or Front Office System (FOS) when interface to a hotel
front desk computer allows the DiaVox Voice Processing System
to perform functions related to Hospitality applications.
After connected to an "integrated" PBX phone system,
it can be configured to automatically record messages for
rooms, notify the room that there are messages waiting via
message waiting lights, or out dial notification, automatically
re-initialize mailboxes, and purge any unwanted messages after
the room is checked-in, and move messages to another mailbox
if the customer changes rooms.
